Due to substantial business growth my client, a Global manufacturer of EPOS hardware systems, are looking for an office based Account Manager. This permanent role is a varied and interesting position with a significant amount of responsibility; working with some of the most recognisable brands in the world.
Working within the Sales team, supporting the Channel Business Development Managers you will be looking to achieve growth, by proactively engaging with allocated clients. There will be face to face meetings as and when required and whilst most of the client contact is remote, you will need to have the flexibility to travel.
Maintaining a contact schedule across all your assigned accounts, identifying business opportunities and developing the maintenance and service prospects. Obtaining a detailed understanding of each client account.
The role will include considerable planning and assisting in the project ‘roll outs’ for our clients which is made up of a diverse group of companies.
Preparing purchase orders and invoices ensuring they are monitored appropriately, whilst checking expected revenue numbers are met, this will include budget control within the Maintenance and Service area of the business.
Working to strict time guidelines and contracted service levels; this will require advanced planning and scheduling.
Ensuring clients’ accounts are running as planned, updating relevant customer information as you will be working within a fast-growing customer portfolio.
Resolving any issues with the account or service; addressing customer concerns in a timely manner.
Producing and monitoring several client reports and analysing the results, looking for solutions where necessary.
Having a solid understanding of excellent customer service, from a B2B background, you shall be organised and responsible, liaising with the wider multidisciplinary team, building strong relationships with both internal and external customers. Your skills shall include:
- Discretion, as will be privy to confidential information
- Confident telephone manner
- Empathetic interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Keen eye for attention to detail
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
- Basic knowledge of EPOS systems would be advantageous
